RAM Crypto School

This was a 6-month course initiated by our alumni, Aadityan Ganesh (PhD student at Princeton University) for the senior most students at RAM TP.

RAM Crypto School: A reading and discussion platform on most things blockchain. The Goal is to introduce participants to the state-of-the-art and beyond in blockchains, Consensus, and cryptocurrencies. Students will spend approximately 4 hours consistently each week towards the Program. The idea is to have a platform to clarify doubts that arise from the pre-reading And have further explorations around that. The plan is to go discuss the course Foundations of BlockChains taught by Prof. Tim Roughgarden, Columbia University. Students will also be going over some ultra-recent Research talks and research papers, depending on the discussions. The course started in August and went all the way until Jan. We may want to add that As well to show that this was a long course offered by the Alumni of RAM for the new Students of RAM.

Faculty Profile

Aadityan is a PhD student in computer science at Princeton University, with a focus on the intersection between blockchains and game-theory. He has completed his Undergraduate degree in mathematics and computer science from the Chennai Mathematical Institute. He was also an intern at Princeton University and Northwestern University, where he worked on various aspects of algorithmic game theory.
